Canine Partners for Life News

Friday, May 30th, 2014

The Today Show on NBC this morning featured a segment on Canine Partners for Life.  As a community puppy home,  Karen and I were able to have Dale over Christmas two years ago when he was in his formal training stage.  What a great dog!  Digger (Dyno), our first Canine Partner dog is now an explosive detection dog for the Atlantic County New Jersey Sheriff’s Department.  Banditt, our second trainee, has been in formal training for the past four months and has begun to alert to seizures.  Our current trainee, a four-month old yellow lab named Samba, is just now moving out of his “puppy” stage and is beginning to get more serious about his training!

fbhnewpic9.jpgHave a son, daughter or significant other graduating from the University of Delaware this spring?  Help celebrate the event by giving the graduate one of our exclusive Fighting Blue Hens.  Either standing alone, mounted on a cherry base or even personalized with an engraved plaque, these signed, numbered copper sculptures are heirloom reminders of their time at the U. of D.
